Spicy Garlic Shrimp

Spicy Garlic Shrimp

This is one of my favorite dishes. It reminds me of my childhood. Driving to Kahuku was long and boring. But I knew when we got there, we would get fresh shrimp, sweet watermelon and corn.

I created this dish to honor my memory and to help battle my blood pressure. Sources say that garlic helps to reduce blood pressure.

  • 20 pieces 21/25 Shrimp

  • 2 ounces butter

  • 2 tbsp garlic

  • 1 tsp montreal steak seasoning or old bay seasoning

  • to taste sambal

  • Over medium high heat, in a saute pan add 1 tablespoon of oil (a neutral oil).

  • When hot, add in the butter and garlic. Saute the garlic until perfumed and lightly colored.

  • Add in the shrimp and seasoning salt.

  • To your taste add in sambal. Add water to pan if the sauce is breaking.

E'ai ka kou!!!
